Return Policies

Memphis ReStore Return Policy

The ReStore will not refund the sale of any electronics or appliances unless the item does not operate in its main function (cooking food, washing clothes, playing DVDs, etc.). All other ReStore items are sold as-is. No refunds will be given on electronics and appliances if they are the wrong size and/or color. Sales are considered final once a transaction has been conducted at the register and a receipt has been issued. Customers who remain inside the store after the purchase has been completed and return to the register will not receive a refund.

When returning an electrical item, the customer can receive a credit on their debit card, cash, or a store credit - depending upon the form of payment used. Cash will never be given for a debit card purchase because all debit card purchases are processed as a charge.

Non-electrical items (furniture, decor, etc.) can be brought back for
exchange only. This policy applies to items removed from the store or being held after-purchase in the Donation Center. Exchanges must be made for the same dollar amount. Returns & exchanges must be accompanied with a receipt within 14 days from the date on the receipt. In store credits are also given in place of an exchange if something  isn't available.

Sold items will be held for pickup in our donation center for 3 days. Items are considered a donation after that time has passed and will be placed back on the sales floor.

Load Policies

It is the responsibility of the patron to load all purchases into vehicles - please bring help to assist you.

Staff and volunteers are responsible for bringing purchases to the exit, but only when appropriate help is available.
